Ed Sweeney

Ed is a Casualty (Re)Insurance expert who has advised global Insurance company Boards, CEO’s, CUO’s and Line of business heads for over 40 years.

Having spent 40 years at Guy Carpenter & Co., He was the Executive Vice President based out of the New York headquarters. During this time he focused on Global Insurance companies and became a trusted advisor to companies based in the U.S, France, England, Switzerland, Germany, Bermuda, Ireland and Japan. His responsibilities included Casualty Specialties Leader, Head of Eastern Region and Global Clients Executive Leader.

As an expert in Products Liability, General Liability, Professional Liability, Management Liability, Cyber and Terrorism, he helped companies analyze their portfolios and develop appropriate Reinsurance risk management strategies to assist in achieving their long and short term business plans.
